Truth #1

Restoration is a process, meaning it doesn't happen all at once. Returning the world to it's original state takes a lot of work. One day, we will experience the fullness of restoration, but no one knows when that will happen for sure. Until then, God invites us to help him enact his restoration plan- to work alongside him as he restores all of creation. We can do that by stepping back onto the Path of our True Source - the one Humanity walked away from in the Garden. It will lead us into our Garden State NOW.

Remember, our adventure this year was just one of many God wants to take you on. Our Heroic Journey will play out over the course of our lives, and through many adventures, our heavenly Dad will teach us how to walk the Path of Sonship so we can live IN and From our Garden State everyday. On each adventure, we learn more about God and ourselves as he gives us these answers and helps us understand them in a deeper way. Like an onion, he peels back a layer at a time, showing us what it means to truly walk the Path of Sonship.

Truth #2

At the Call to Adventure, we needed to detach from [our] magnets and trust God enough to follow him into the Wilderness. Now, in the Wilderness, we must work alongside Him to deconstruct the Imposter Life our magnets helped us build, so we can learn how to live IN and FROM our Garden State again. We must change how we live, no longer as imposters but from our true identity. This change is the cost of our restoration to our Garden State, and God initiates this change in us by leading us through Wilderness Trials. These trials are opportunities to step off our Imposter Path onto the Path of our True Source. Each trial is a new crossroads, not dissimilar to humanity's crossroads in the Garden: will we trust our True Source and battle through the difficulty of changing or will we fall and wander in the wilderness?

[This year], we accepted our True Source's call to adventure, choosing to trust His answer to our question of identity by detaching from our magnets, or sources apart from Him that we allow too close to our hearts. That act of trust ushered us into the wilderness where we faced the change God had for us- to move from our Imposter Paths onto His Path of Sonship. We worked alongside the Trinity to battle through the opposition and deconstruct the Imposter Life we've built on our magnet's answers to our identity question. They gave us what we needed to begin building a life rooted in our True Identity. In trusting the Trinity, we changed, no longer slaves to our imposter life, but free to be Beloved Sons of a good heavenly dad.

Truth #3

[W]hen someone is trying to identify a counterfeit dollar bill, they don't spend all their time studying the counterfeits. There are too many counterfeits to do that effectively. Instead, they study the REAL BILLS, and from studying the real bills, they can spot the counterfeits. That's how we learn to walk the Path of Sonship. We look at the "real bill" or in our case, the life of Jesus. From his example, we can look at our life and spot the "counterfeits"- the ways we walk the Imposter Path.

Here's how they work: each Rhythm of Sonship will take you through the stages of adventure and is broken into three parts: TRUTH. TRUST. TRANSFORM. In the TRUTH section, we will introduce you to a truth about life as God's Son, or an answer to one of your core, heart questions. In the TRUST section, you will begin to evaluate your life by looking at the "Real Bill" of Jesus' life. In the TRANSFORM section, you'll have time to reflect as you "Return" from practicing the rhythm we gave you.
