Help Us Build the Family!
Who doesn't want to build their own family or help others build theirs?! We all love the idea, but we aren't always sure how to do it let alone do it well. The New Frontier Ministry has an opportunity for you to help build families!
As many of you know, we are all about building families. We do so through the key relationships that exist within the family such as fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, men and women. We do this because the foundation of our society is the family unit. The stronger the family leaders; the stronger the family. The stronger the kids; the stronger the world we live in. Many of you receiving this are also followers of Jesus and a part of the Body of Christ - the universal family of God. The Body needs to be “whole and holy” to accomplish the mission of building our Dad’s Kingdom here on earth and spread the truth of the Gospel. This starts with the family!
One aspect of our ministry is providing places of rest, reconnection, and restoration in Montana and Ohio for families. In Ohio, our first priority is for those in full time ministry and those families in crisis, but when opportunity arises and space is available - any family! WHY? Families are foundational and today are under more pressure and busier than ever before. The family is under intense attack by our culture, the world, and the enemy. Because of this intense and relentless assault, divorce, infidelity, struggling kids and fractured homes are at an all time high. We have lost who we are, what we are here to do, and where we belong. Sadly, this happens almost as much in ministry families as in non-ministry. We want to be a part of our Dad’s desire to push that trend the other way.
How can YOU be a part of the “rest, reconnection and restoration” of a family?
On the edge of the property in Montana where most of our ministry takes place there is a three family facility home for sale. We want to purchase it! The quality of this facility is top-notch and comes fully furnished for our needs. To do that we need $220,000 in seed money to get started. The folks we are buying this house from have been amazing partners, friends, and contributors to this ministry for years. They even allow us to use their 12,000-acre ranch and amazing Bunk House for all of our intensives. They are sold out on building the family!
Our plan is to use this facility to provide much needed rest. The deep heart, mind, body, and soul kind of rest that is essential. We will provide an environment for and lead to intentional, guided ways for families to reconnect: to be a family again or be one in new and deeper ways. Lastly, we want to provide a healing, restorative environment for families that are in crisis or at the end of their rope. A place where counseling and intervention can happen when needed. We will use this home to strengthen families!
We will also use this home to love on our summer/fall staff and their amazing families who serve as volunteers! They need to rest, reconnect, and be restored as families as well after giving so much of themselves throughout the weeks.
Here is the thing...
We aren't moving forward without our Dad’s approval and we see that through His provision of the funds. If it is what He wants then He will fund It. I love this quote by Hudson Taylor the first missionary to China:
“Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.”― Hudson Taylor
...so that means we need those who feel drawn by what our Dad is doing to step up and help by giving, praying, or sharing the message!
