How Well Do We Know Our Hearts?
The heart is a mystery, created by a mysterious and amazing artist. David prayed in Psalm 139, ”search me, know my heart...reveal it to me,” because he knew only the Creator of his heart could truly know its fullness. David needed God’s revelation to know even a small part of who he truly is and what is going on inside. The heart is like an untamed animal. We can track its movements but, not always predict its behavior. So this begs the question:
How does my heart move? How do I know when my heavenly Dad is taking me deeper into my true heart? How will that look? What does it look like when He calls me into adventure?
I know it helps me when my Dad calls me into an adventure to have some perspective of what I am going through. Although every journey of life is personal, there are some things we can learn from those who have gone before us. This week we will be exploring a way to track the movements of our hearts as our Dad leads us deeper into being His sons and daughters and as He leads us into the adventure of the heart.

- What ways have you tried to “get to know yourself” and they’ve fallen short?
- Where in your life do you need some perspective from your heavenly Father?
- What adventures is he taking you on at this time in your journey?
